“ Memory Garden”
Over the last few years, we have shared with you some of the improvements that we have made to our Church. For example, we have posted photos of the recently installed doors with stained glass windows inside Good Shepherd.
This Spring has been a joyful awakening of flowers, bushes, and trees as they herald a new beginning after a long frigid winter.
It made us reflect on how we might continue the joy of the Easter message by enhancing our grounds
so people who walk or drive by will see beauty all year long.
We are creating a “Memory Garden” that will surround the Church grounds. You can make contributions towards purchasing a variety of plants, bushes, and ornamental trees, to honor or remember someone important to you.
A reminder as you drive by or visit, that they are being prayed for and are remembered as God’s beloved.
If you are wondering how to remember or honor someone this Mother’s Day, this might be something you would like to consider. Whether you decide to contribute or not, we will list the names of all mothers sent to the office in our service leaflet for Mothers’ Day.
PARISH OFFICE (973) 334-2882
and some will get back to you.
Thank you.
